According to www.crystalvaults.com, Turquoise is perhaps one of the oldest used gemstones in history. It’s tranquil hues of green and blue bring protection and strength to its owner. Turquoise has been used for thousands of years to bring power and luck to several ancient cultures, not only used during war but also as adornment for wealthier families.

Turquoise is known for its incredible health benefits and healing energies. As Turquoise is known to bring strength and protection to its wearer, it is said to help soothe the symptoms of depression, anxiety and exhaustion. It is the stone of balance, and brings a sense of calmness and tranquility to stressful situations.

Along with Tanzanite, Turquoise is the birthstone for all you December babies. Its deep blue colour and vibrance is said to bring good health and fortune to those who wear it or keep it near. Turquoise is also known to aid with the healing of health problems associated with the mind. This beautiful stone represents strength, peace and prosperity.
