While synthetic Opal stones are made in a lab, they are chemically very similar to natural Opals. Synthetic Opals are grown in a lab for about a year using approximately 80% Silica (what natural opals are composed of) and 20% Resin, until a beautiful stone is formed.

In order to be more sustainable and save on waste, all Indie and Harper orders are packaged in ONE 100% recycled box and ONE 100% organic and sustainable cotton bag.
